Why it matters

Every station has a hazard. Every hand needs the right glove.

Hand injuries are among the most common recordables in manufacturing — sharp stock, stamping, assembly, and maintenance all cut differently. OSHA 1910.138 requires hand protection matched to the hazard, and ANSI 105 cut levels are how you match it.

As an authorized Majestic Glove distributor, Hollis Supply stocks cut-rated Dyneema knits, coated palms, drivers, and welding gloves — plus protective clothing and hi-vis for forklift and yard traffic — by the case, with bulk pricing that keeps whole shifts outfitted.

Common applications

  • Metal stamping & fabrication
  • Assembly & machine operation
  • Warehousing & shipping
  • Maintenance & repair
  • Parts handling & QC

Good to know

Manufacturing PPE questions

What cut level do we need on the line?

Match the glove to the hazard: A2–A3 for general assembly and handling, A4–A5 for stamping and sheet metal, A6+ for glass and blade exposure. Product pages show the rating on every glove.

Coated knit or leather — which lasts longer?

Coated knits win for dexterity and cut protection at machine stations; leather drivers take more abuse in shipping and maintenance. Most plants stock both by area.

Do we need hi-vis indoors?

Anywhere powered industrial trucks share space with people, hi-vis is cheap insurance — and many plant safety programs now require Class 2 on the floor.

Do you offer case and bulk pricing?

Yes — gloves ship by the dozen and case, and we offer volume pricing for plant-wide programs. Request a bulk quote and we'll build pricing for your usage.
