The WSWH high-strength wood shearwall is replacing the WSW wood shearwall. WSWH accessories are compatible only with WSWH panels; use WSW accessories with WSW panels.

The Strong-Wall® WSWH high-strength wood shearwall is a prefabricated engineered wood panel that helps structures resist forces resulting from high wind and earthquakes. Combining design flexibility with performance, this code-listed shearwall is field adjustable with the ability to be trimmed and drilled onsite and can be customized to accommodate varying heights or rake walls. The WSWH features patented wood fuse technology that provides predictable behavior and delivers superior strength, stiffness, ductility and design values.

• Reusable templates (sold separately) to locate the holdown anchor bolts accurately for multiple footing types
• Top-of-wall shear transfer accomplished with a single plate that is fastened with a combination of Strong-Wall screws and heavy-duty connector screws
• Suitable for residential, multifamily and light-frame commercial construction
• Evaluated to the 2018 IRC/IBC and listed by ICC-ES
